Jenn Faber is the director of the Florida Grade Level Reading Campaign (FGLRC) at the Florida Children’s Council. She provides technical assistance to the members of the FGLRC ensuring access to resources needed to set outcomes for children, implement aligned activities, and demonstrate progress toward goals. Additionally, Ms. Faber helps facilitate connectivity among the campaign’s state Leadership Network and Business Alliance for Early Learning to ensure synergy and alignment.
Ms. Faber has dedicated more than 30 years working in early learning and afterschool. Her extensive afterschool training history includes speaking engagements in 38 of our 50 states as well as in Germany and Japan. Ms. Faber coauthored the Florida Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs and the Florida Core Competencies for Afterschool Practitioners. She served as the content expert for Florida Department of Children and Families online school-age modules and for eight years on the Florida Afterschool Alliance board of directors. Ms. Faber was a founding member of the Florida Afterschool Network and served as an Afterschool Alliance ambassador and afterschool accreditation endorser. She was trained in leading communities of practice and lead several statewide network initiatives focused on provider/child relationships, early learning curriculum, and quality afterschool services.
