Tracey Martin
Tracey Martin, Ph.D., serves on the Region 7 Comprehensive Center internal evaluation team. She has conducted evaluation research for RMC Research Corporation for more than 15 years, providing her experience in a wide range of projects. Her approach to evaluation is collaborative; Dr. Martin works with clients from the initial phases of project design to reporting the formative and summative data that best serves a client’s needs. She guides clients in the use of logic models for understanding the assumptions and inputs necessary to reach their goals and helps clients select the most appropriate measures to collect comprehensive information while placing the minimum burden on respondents.
As the evaluator for RMC Research’s previous Northeast Comprehensive Center, Dr. Martin assisted project leads with all stages of work, from crafting measurable outcomes to designing data collection tools that measured changes in individual or organizational knowledge and capacity. Dr. Martin also is the assistant director of the National Blue Ribbon Schools (NBRS) technical assistance team where she provides evaluation-related technical assistance to U.S. Department of Education staff as well as to states and schools around assessment issues. Additionally, she evaluates program events and policies for the NBRS program director.
