Building Capacity to Identify ESSA Levels of Evidence

This project is deepening the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) staff’s understanding of the ESSA Levels of Evidence. Through this project, a rubric and training materials will be developed based on the 2023 ESSA Non-Regulatory Guidance. R7CC will train FDOE staff in the ESSA Levels of Evidence and how to use the rubric to review research evidence and determine the level of evidence of elementary reading and math intervention programs submitted by publishers.
