This guidance document provides State Education Agency and Local Education Agency staff as well as education stakeholders with a set of priority issues to address for school reopening in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This guidance, updated every three months, provides strategies to address the following six topics: (a) academic programming, (b) operations, (c) family and community support, (d) communications, (e) health and safety, and (f) technology/learning management systems. This resource also provides a short list of considerations for each type of school opening schedule (i.e., traditional, hybrid, and virtual).
