This document presents three principles for the design of high-quality professional learning aligned to student standards: Professional learning must be “content-focused,” “teacher- and student-centered,” and “instructionally relevant and actionable.” Achieve the Core developed the principles based on a review of the literature, empathy interviews, and feedback from partner organizations.
